Radiodiagnostic Unit 2 - University Hospital Careggi - Florence Italy

The aim of this project was to improve management and planning functions at intra and inter hospital level: the local health unit and regional scale referred to “Great Areas” that were created to subdivide Tuscany Region in three functional areas.
The first step of the project were:
- Development and implementation of the system
- Decrease of the access and management costs
- Development of a user friendly system (NHS and patients) The centrality of diagnostic imaging area was the reason why Regional Government choose this field of Health System to create a digital folder of all clinical patients data.
The Radiology Units have:
- A lot of radiological procedures
- High, rapid evolution and expensive technology
